How do we differ from other online schools?

Our students can work at home (24/7) or in our computer lab and get help from certified teachers.

Any course you complete with us is acceptable at any secondary or post secondary school in Canada. Graduates from our school receive the same Dogwood Diploma issued by any High School in BC.

We open September 7th:

September 7th: access to online courses opens for registered students.

September 12th: test-writing opens at the Columbia Square Learning Centre (see new location details below).


September 7th & 8th: Drop-in registration for new and returning students from 10 am to 8 pm (closed noon-1pm for lunch and 5 pm-6 pm for dinner). Remember to bring the 3 pieces of required ID.

September 9th: Drop-in registration for new and returning students from 10 am to 3:30 pm (closed noon-1pm for lunch). Remember to bring the 3 pieces of required ID.

September 12th and onward: Registration by appointment (604-517-6191). Remember to bring the 3 pieces of required ID.

New or returning student? See the Course Outlines link for information about our courses. If you were previously enrolled in an online course and would like to continue, contact the course instructor. Registration details are at the top of the page, and remember to bring the 3 pieces of required ID when you come.

ID Requirements:

Adults (over age 19) are required to show THREE pieces of ID. High School students need to bring their current school ID or BC Driver's licence.

Fees? It depends:

Adult students who have completed graduation from a secondary school or high school in BC or in another jurisdiction have to pay a tuition FEE of $375 per course.

Students who have NOT yet graduated in BC or in another jurisdiction are able to take all courses tuition FREE.

Adult Literacy Foundation courses (upgrading courses below Grade 11 level) are tuition FREE for ALL students, including high school graduates. The Ministry of Education website lists these free courses.

High School students (from New Westminster or from any another school district) who want to register need to print and complete an Under Age 19 Registration Form. Contact Jim Kemp (jkemp@sd40.bc.ca) for more information.
